ALterantive tinsel much more usefull

Thursday 7th December: Well had lots of post this week including lots of Christmas cards and threads as part of Jayne's attic non-stitched card exchange where we send a card and put a skein of hand dyed thread in card got lovely selection. Thought I would display as Christmas tinsel until i do my proper decorations at the weekend . What do you think to my tinsel? I think its very pretty.

Well found out on Monday I will be moving wards as yet don't know where I work as NHS nurse and its part of cut backs and rejig of staff. I start on 18th December but I am Holiday for week so my first official day is Christmas day lets hope they give me the day off.

Tuesday 6th December: well sorry for delay in post but the last week been hetic and eventful. I found out that I been relocate to another ward as a result of cut back in beds in our current ward. I should know next week to what ward i asked for cardiology and infectious diseases.

stitching wise i not done much just finished some coaster for my wonderfully GP and the recponisist so pleased with them.

MY wip is an fairy from this months cross stitch crazy my first on evenwaeve wow its grows slow especially as i had to unpick some hoping to stitch more over the weekend. image at top of the page

sunday november 25th november: well went ot today before me and my four walls fell out as been stuck in all week with flu. I went to wholesale warehouse to get some xmas presents and decortations . Getting a real tree 2nd week in decmber. anyway i am total worn out now was going to wrap some presents but got now enery so i think i sit am stitch with my pyjams on sheer bliss

sat November 25th : well feeling a little better yesterday so did some crafting well just cross stitching actual: Firstly i made this intail using dragon shade fabric( from my grab a bag selection just love the shade. ) http://www.polstitchesdesigns.co.uk/company.html

the shade is jelly fish so groovy.

The finished article will be a coaster for my wonderful Doctor R who is young and very caring GP. What do you think of it?

WOW ANOTHER 1st : for me tonight after many years of trying and failing to use evenweave material instead Aida. At last I done it a few frogs a little unpicking but i did five rows of my latest project ( kids fairy from this months cross stitch crazy) I am real please it even look semi neat what do you think?

Final help need i doing the fairy for my five year niece Katie who has strawberry blone hair. I want to change the hair colour from brown in the photo to her colour can someone recommend a DMCshade or hand dyed shade for me to use. many thanks Polly.

hello a new day

25th November 2006
that Friday feeling: is well truly here after solid week of illness flu and chest infection.The four walls are boring conversation with cat ran out on Wednesday as my voice went. I even had to have week off work very unusual for me.
I not been feeling up to anything even cross stitch .however Thursday had my 1st go at card making quite pleased with myself.
AT last I can tell you I am feeling a little better may even do some cross stitch this afternoon a fairy for my five year old niece as she got good school report.
